So this is my third lens and I am absolutely in love with it, another great suggestion from a photographer I can only aspire to be half as good as, Colleen Sherman.

Once you have the 50, you never go back! I seriously shoot with mine the 80% of the time. And I about had a heart attack when I put it on my camera the first time and saw the quality of pictures it takes! Big difference from the kit lens.

Great pup pictures. I like the first one the best. Also, is that a sunrise or a sunset? I am guessing a sunset, I am also guessing you live in west Reno as these scenes usually are best in west Reno.
@will hull thanks! that is a sunrise, the back of our house faces the east and we are down in south Reno.
